This tour offers a special experience where you can learn the spirit of the Samurai and Zen, which have been passed down to the present day, through an intensive and disciplined journey with a charismatic Iaido master and a Shugendo monk of sacred Mt. Haguro in Yamagata, the birthplace of Iaido.

| 9:00a.m. | This tour starts from Haneda Airport - Fly to Yamagata. (1hour flight) Meet a guide at Yamagata Airport and enjoy a brief Tsuruoka tour with lunch. Accommodations at Shukubo- Polgrim's lodge at the foot of holy Mt. Haguro (2nights/ Japanese tatami room / communal bath and toilet/ Mountain monk style breakfast and dinner. |

| 7:00a.m. | Participate in a Shugendo prayer Mountain Monk experience, walk with a real Yamabushi (climb the 2446 stone stais up to the shrine) Zen meditation |

| 12:00p.m. | Samurai Silk factory Accommodations at Suiden Terrasse (designed by Ban Shigeru, in the midst of rice paddies) |
