The Shimose Art Museum was designed by Shigeru Ban, a world-renowned Japanese architect who was awarded the Prix de Versailles in 2024 as "the most beautiful art museum in the world."

Miyajima is a World Heritage site famous for its torii gate floating on the water. You can comfortably visit these two beautiful sites on a private cruiser, which would take more than a day to visit by land.

*The tour using the private cabin cruiser generally operates in light rain, but may be canceled for safety reasons due to wind speed or wave conditions.
If bad weather is anticipated, we will consult with you 3-5 days before the tour to discuss the operation and possible alternatives.
In the event of cancellation due to weather, the full Basic Tour fare will be refunded except museum tickets booked in advance.
Please note in advance that alternative options will incur additional charges.
Changes to the cruise schedule or route may occur due to museum availability or bad weather during the cruise, and in such cases, no refund will be provided.
