Immerse yourself in the timeless elegance of Japanese traditions passed down since the Edo period.

This tour is contingent upon a request that includes a 5-star hotel reservation in Tokyo and will be confirmed once we secure a visit to a sumo stable.

Please note that sumo stable visits are available on limited dates and are generally not possible during Grand Sumo Tournament months (odd months).

ITINERARIES & INFORMATION

Day 1
after 3:00p.m check in at the hotel in Tokyo on your own
*Optional; transfer from an airport or a train station by private car can be arranged .
Day 2
- Fullday Edo spirit tour by private car and English speaking guide -
8:00a.m. Pick up from your hotel by private car and English speaking guide
8:30a.m. Sumo Stable visit - see the intense training of professional sumo wrestler
10:30a.m. Breakfast with sumo wrestlers - sumo 'Chanko' stew pot
12:00p.m. Stroll around Ryogoku area where Sumo National Stadium locates, visiting
* The Japanese Sword Museum (closed on Mon)
* Hokusai Ukiyoe Museum, (closed on Mon)
* Bonsai Museum (closed on Mon)
4:00p.m. return to your hotel

On Monday when the above musuem are closed, hands-on experience/shop visit of Edo Kiriko Glass factory or Japanese Washi Paper making is recommended.
Optional ; Geisha dinner can be arranged.

*No-chairs seating.- there are benck-like steps for observers depending on the stable

*Each sumo stable has its own set of rules and etiquette for visitors. It's recommended to seek photo permission from the stable in advance。

* Chanko breakfast meal is included (dietary restriction needs to be informed in advance.)

*Lunch is not included / reservation can be made upon request
