Grapes symbolize fertility

The grape pattern is valued as a symbol of fertility, and the fact that it bears many fruits is considered a symbol of prosperity for descendants.
Also, since the vines look like arabesques, it symbolizes the continuous development.

The grapes are decorated with mother-of-pearls and a variety of techniques are used to create an elegant box that allows you to enjoy the beauty and high level of technique of Kyo-Maki-e.
