Gion Maruyama

The entrance to Gion Maruyama is at the end of a cobbled path, where you will find a traditional Kyoto sukiya-style building. The first floor offers counter seating, and the counter is created with a single piece of hinoki (cypress) wood. The dining rooms on the second floor have a beautiful decor of Kyoto lacquer on the sliding doors and ceilings. Mr. Yoshio Maruyama, the owner chef creates amazing dishes with his original playful twist.
